I've finally gotten back into trying to watch Amphibia, and I'm at True Colors. Now, I know that it's apparently a wild episode—

But I didn't think it was this wild. I wouldn't call myself a "younger viewer," but wish me luck, I guess?

I like to imagine The Sada and Turo really did love Arven, They loved him to the point of 'Inventing' Paradise, loved him to the point of sacrificing their world for him, that they love Arven to the point where they were neglectful.

They wanted him to have a beautiful, wonderful place to live, a Genuine Paradise - It was dangerous work, He couldn't have been IN area Zero as they made paradise - but in focusing on a world for him, they forgot about him. Of course part of Paradise was they Past/Future Paradox 'Mon.

If Sada and Turo loved those things from the book, why wouldn't Arven?

And if they could look back, if they could see how much they hurt Arven? They'd regret it. They'd be so full of guilt they wouldn't be able to handle it.

All the professors wanted to do was give him the world, make him happy, and in doing so they ruined his world, and made him so hurt and alone he clung onto the last shred of hope and love he'd had in this world.

I think they'd be heartbroken, and the only one who really knows or understands that is the AI, who didn't understand the Professor's emotional obsession with Paradise, and didn't see the logical fallacy of their work.

The Professors loved greatly, deeply, and selfishly.

It cost them Everything, and nearly cost Arven Everything as well.

Me watching “Laputa: Castle in the Sky” as part of wanting to watch every Ghibli film in release order: Ah, this was as good as I remember. I def see how it inspired Amphibia’s creator/writers with Andrias’ flying castle and the Frobots. I bet that’s about it though—

I'm like very critical of Flynn's work but keep it to myself because I dont want people to think I'm like randomfox. That dude has turned into such a joke, every Sonic discord I'm in makes fun of him and its anoyying real critics cant speak up

God I hate it when normal & reasonable critique gets drowned out by (usually aNtI wOkE) weirdos, it happened to star wars, it happened to the MCU, it happened to... you know what just put everything Disney makes here, and even also that one show this blog is normally about to an extent. If you make the mistake of looking at Randoms twitter you can tell He's an anti-wokey sometimes too, oh joy

Yknow it's kinda wild when something comes to end so suddenly that's been a part of you for the majority of your life (I'm 27 and have been watching RT since I was about 11/12 years old). I don't want to really compare the shutdown to like losing a loved one but it does feel like we're losing something close to us personally but also to the arts and media and internet culture. Things change and a shutdown would have probably happened at some point regardless, I just wish it was under different circumstances :(
